My recent stay at A One Calm Palace was exceptional. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach with plenty of options for food and drinks. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the showers were the best I've experienced in Sri Lanka. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to arrange transportation for us. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful vacation experience.

The hotel had a nice pool and the grounds were well-maintained. the location was convenient since it was just a short walk to the main road and the beach. the staff was nice and helped us book a taxi.
Our room was dirty and full of cockroaches. the lack of aircon made it unbearably hot, and if we opened the windows, we would attract a lot of mosquitoes.

This hotel has an excellent location, being very close to the beach, just off the main street, and within walking distance to the bus stop. the rooms are spacious and have large balconies, as well as good AC and hot showers. the staff are helpful and polite, and some guests appreciated the option to rent scooters or the pool.
The hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail could use improvement, and some guests noted issues such as power cuts, poor wifi, or the lack of a fridge or sufficient outlets in the rooms.

The breakfast was delicious and had numerous options to choose from. The large pool was fantastic and well-maintained. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering a great night's sleep. The location of the hotel, being just a few minutes from the beach, was perfect for our Easter holiday.
The Wi-Fi signal was weak and sometimes non-existent, which made it difficult to stay connected and plan our day trips. there were times when staff seemed uninterested in helping and weren't always present at the reception area.
